Thanks to its generous cutout, the holster accommodates both small and large red dot sights (RDS), such as the Aimpoint ACRO, making it ideal for modern operational requirements.
The Retention Systems
The B3007 weapon holster with the AHG (Automatic Hood Guard) PRIMARY RETENTION and LTG (Locking on Trigger Guard) SECONDARY RETENTION systems offers reliable and secure handling. Both retentions are operated simultaneously via a single retention paddle with the second joint of the index finger. Since the very tip of the finger is not required for unlocking, there is no risk of accidentally pulling the trigger in a stressful situation. The AHG is a spring-loaded retention hood that sits tightly over the weapons slide and securely locks it in the holster. To release the weapon, the retention paddle must be pressed. The LTG retention additionally and automatically engages around the weapons trigger guard, holding it firmly in the holster. The retention paddle is positioned on the outside of the holster at the height of the trigger finger. This ensures a full grip on the weapon and allows the ergonomically placed retention paddle to be operated without readjusting your grip. When the retention paddle is pressed, the AHG hood automatically springs forward. Simultaneously, the LTG retention is released, allowing the weapon to be drawn immediately. If the finger is removed from the retention paddle after the AHG is opened, the LTG retention automatically re-engages, keeping the weapon securely in the holster.
Holstering the Weapon / Closing the Holster
When re-holstering the weapon into the security holster, you can use the thumb of your shooting hand to press down on the top/back of the weapons slide. The weapon is pushed into the holster with the primary retention open. The secondary retention automatically locks into place. The weapon is secured against loss and unauthorized access/removal by third parties. Now, pull the primary retention hood back over the weapons slide with four fingers. The spring-loaded primary retention automatically locks in its rearmost position.
Individually Adjustable Draw Tension
An additional adjustment screw allows you to fine-tune the weapons fit and customize the draw tension to your needs, providing a secure and rattle-free hold.
