LiveFire Type3MalfunctionRound Nylon training cartridge
The Type3MalfunctionRound is a nylon dummy cartridge that realistically simulates a Type 3 malfunction (ejection failure, double fire, malfunction no. 2, additional reaction) - exactly as we would experience it in live fire.
This special cartridge is made of a specially developed nylon synthetic resin that protects the internal steel parts of the weapon from damage.
Instead of loading the gun, the Type3MalfunctionRound takes the hit. It can withstand around 500 manipulations / shots before it needs to be replaced.
A defensive pistol shooter should be able to fix a Type 3 malfunction as easily as an emergency reload.
A Type 3 malfunction and a slide lock are very similar! Both result in a jammed trigger and keep the slide open.
However, they require different actions. And both are important for training.
