The Mechanix BREACHER FR Nomex is a functional and flame retardant glove with D3O ankle protection.

In the development of the Breacher FR Nomex, Mechanix has particularly contributed the experience of access units. The main focus was on the protective properties without limiting the functionality.
The glove has a D3O ankle protection and a rubber coating made of thermal plastic to protect these areas from dull blows.
A D3O cushion on the palm reduces impact and vibration. Nomex® provides additional protection for the back of the hand and the fingers, which is processed in these areas and minimizes the possibility of injury due to heat and flames.

D3O is a unique, flexible material that locks on impact and makes it "hard" and returns to the flexible state after the impact. The flexibility and softness of the D3O material provides great comfort without compromising safety. Hard protectors often reduce the comfort of a glove. The D3O is soft and flexible and adapts to the shape of the hand for optimum comfort.

There are no protectors on the trigger finger (left and right) to ensure 100% serviceability. Due to the double additional seam at the trigger finger, the customer is able to cut off the glove fingertip and thus prevents fraying.

The nappa leather in the palm of the hand ensures an exceptionally homogeneous fit, especially when dealing with weapons and other police activities.
Show fingers and thumbs are touch screen compatible.
The width is adjusted with a hook and loop fastener.
A reinforced loop has been incorporated at the wristband end of each glove to allow it to be attached to turnout gear or equipment by means of a carabiner or similar, but can also be used as a donning aid.

Three-dimensional structuring corresponds to the natural curvature of the hand and ensures optimal freedom of movement, gripping force and fingertip sensation.
Flame retardant FR Nomex® protects the hand from heat and flames.
D3O Upholstery in the palm reduces impact and vibration.
Anatomically adapted soft D3O protectors in the ankle area and plastic reinforcements on the upper side of the knuckles.
