The N-ear CHOICETM-T1 PTT shoulder mic set was designed for high durability and is the dust- and waterproof variant of the Choice product family. In addition to certified dust and water resistance according to IP-67, the T1 is Bluetooth-enabled for connection with up to two remote PTT buttons from N-ear.
Our recommendation for special forces, military, navy, coast guard, and more marine applications
GENERAL INFORMATION
The CHOICE consists of three components that are permanently and inseparably connected: the connector, cable, and PTT.
Compact and ultra-light design: the total weight of the connection piece, cable, and PTT is approximately 450 g, with the shoulder microphone (PTT) itself weighing around 200 g.
All CHOICE PTTs feature an integrated directional microphone.
The power for operating the PTTs is supplied by the radio (FuG).
The PTTs have a built-in microphone for speaking, activated via a push-to-talk button on the PTT.
The PTTs do not have a speaker. To listen, you will need ear-/headphones.
A standard 3.5 mm jack is required to connect ear-/headphones to the PTTs.
Once the connector is plugged into the radio, the radio speaker is automatically muted, so ear-/headphones are needed for listening.
The CHOICE PTT variants T1 and T2 are Bluetooth capable, but only with the remote control PTT buttons from N-ear, and they can be connected with up to two buttons. They cannot connect with any other Bluetooth device except those from N-ear.
T3 is not Bluetooth compatible.
The cable length for all three versions is 86 cm.
They feature a flexible, durable cable with a braided covering and a tensile strength of 40 kg.
All CHOICE PTTs come with a sturdy metal clip for attachment to equipment or clothing.
