The fork is mounted to the appropriate holster, the receiver plate is mounted to the leg plate or belt loop. To attach, the holster/magazine pouch is inserted into the receiver plate with the ends of the fork until the fork locks into the receiver plate with a clicking sound. To release the lock, the two ends of the fork must be pressed together and the holster/magazine pouch pulled upwards out of the mounting plate.
