These laser safety goggles provides secure protection from green, blue and violet laser light. Firstly, it offers excellent protection at a wavelength of 532 nm * (this is the wavelength of commercially available green, blue and violet laser pointers).
Univet® laser safety goggles according to EN 207 with polycarbonate filter and a daylight transmission of 25% * ².

IMPORTANT: The spectacle does not protect against red laser light. In principle, red laser pointer but less dangerous because the human retina to green light 10 times more sensitive than red. In addition, red laser pointers are usually based on laser diodes, which have a high beam expansion and thus already losing on short distances to danger. Green, blue and violet laser pointer on the other hand are based on solid-state lasers and have a smaller beam divergence (widening of the beam diameter).
