Very light ballistic protection plate which is made by high strengh PE.
The protection plate has been developed for use on the front and rear. The shape is narrower towards the top, so that a two-handed stop is possible. In order to allow a good fit, the protective plate is curved along the longitudinal axis, as well as additionally from the top to the inside.
The ballistic plate fulfills the test requirements as per stand alone: VPAM6
Stand-alone "means that the plate alone, without a protective vest being worn behind it, fulfills the requirement according to VPAM6.
This plate can be used in combination with all ballistic vests.
Test succeeded on 17.11. 2016 by the Ulm fire brigade.
The test object fulfills the test requirements of BSW 6 according to VPAM BSW 2006 as at 14.05.2009
