The Adventure is the thickest padded sock in the WRIGHTSOCK collection. This model features double-sided terry padding in the toe and heel areas. Since this padding is not built in on the skin side (as is common with other sock manufacturers), but is located between the inner and outer sock, chafing of the padding against the skin is avoided.

The WRIGHTSOCK Anti-Bubble System

- Minimal friction
The inner and outer layers of the WRIGHTSOCK are joined together in three places and designed to move in opposite directions. As a result, friction is absorbed.

- Minimal heat
WRIGHTSOCK do not rub against the skin, but inner sock against outer sock. There is hardly any frictional heat.

- Minimal moisture
Dri-Wright fiber in the inner sock layer wicks away foot moisture very well. WRIGHTSOCK keep feet noticeably dry.


Technical details:

A knit-in stabilization zone in the midfoot area provides secure support.

The back of the foot is knitted in a mesh structure for optimal moisture wicking.

The inner layer is white, undyed and thus designed to be healthy for the foot.

The Dri-Wright and high-tech fibers in the inner and outer layers ensure dry feet and protection against blisters

Info about Dri-Wright:
Dri-Wright is a polyester fiber developed by Wrightenberry Mills. Polyester has the advantage of drying very quickly and being durable like almost no other fiber. Through "channels" on the surface of the fiber, Dri-Wright is able to wick away foot moisture much better than conventional polyester fibers.


WRIGHTSOCK Care Tips
Washing temperature:
Use max 40° C warm wash water.

Wash socks before first use:
For production reasons, the sock yarn is covered with a wax-like protective coating so that it can be processed in the knitting machine. Warm water dissolves this coating and "opens up" the fiber so that sweat wicking works optimally.

Always wash socks "inside out."
First, the dander comes off the fiber more easily and second, the socks stay beautiful longer.

No fabric softener:
Using fabric softener often causes the fine channels on the top of the fiber to clog, making it harder to wick away sweat.

No dryer:
The use of dryers is not recommended. If anything, do not set the dryer to hot temperatures. Temperatures that are too hot can damage the fibers. WRIGHTSOCK dry very quickly when exposed to air.

Washing on the go:
Most WRIGHTSOCK styles will dry overnight after hand washing and wringing. A little hair shampoo will do the trick if you don't have travel detergent with you. Rinse clear. Wring out. Hang up.
